Ringtown Area Library

• The Ringtown Area Library Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so donations to the library are tax deductible in most situations. 
• The library relies on community and individual support for more than 35% of our annual budget. 
• State Funding to Pennsylvania's public libraries was cut by 20.8% for 2010. (That's a loss of $2,630 for the Ringtown Area Library)
• State Funding for libraries will be cut again by an additional 9.1% for 2011 (The library will receive $3,585 Less than in 2009.)
• County Funding for public libraries was cut by 50% for 2010 (a loss of $583)
• County Funding was maintained at the 50% level in 2011
• Donations to the library (large and small) will help maintain services and are always accepted with great appreciation!
